Former MALEVOLENT CREATION Drummer Joins KASTASYDE

March 25, 2008

Drummer David Kinkade (ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION, DIVINE EMPIRE, COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN, INSATANITY) has joined the Chicago metal band KASTASYDE.

Commented Kinkade: "They are an AMAZING band that I came across online who has had a bit of misfortune with their previous drummer situations.

"KASTASYDE is a really unique band. It's almost like STONE SOUR, ARCH ENEMY and MACHINE HEAD with balls. The riffs are very catchy and the vocals are absolutely fucking awesome.

"I'm hard to sell on music especially since there are so many copycat bands in the scene right now but I'm honestly shocked with this band and their potential. I'm super-stoked to be joining a band like this for once, keeping me away from the same old death/black metal thing. It's fun to play 987398987987 miles per hour but it's really taken a toll on my interest in wanting to play the super-extreme metal in the future. How much faster can someone play? It's all been done. Get ready. This band is going to DESTROY YOU."
